Raja Feather Kelly: Dance Performance Adapted for Digital Audiences (Online Talk)

Raja Feather Kelly, New York-based choreographer, writer, and company director of the feath3r theory, continued to create solo work in 2020 despite the complete shutdown of theatres and performance venues in New York. This online talk explores how Raja channeled his boundless creative energy into the production of “Hysteria” (Dec 2020), a hybrid installation/online performance created for NY Live Arts.

We will discuss the future of Raja’s Off-Broadway creative works which were scheduled to open in 2020, as well as how Raja continued to lead his dance company through a year where all live performance was halted.
