For our August edition of Day Play, we are very proud to host legendary Detroiter, Rick Wilhite. Alongside Moodymann, Theo Parrish, and Marcellus Pittman, he comprises one of the four members of the Three Chairs faction. As a Producer, Rick has released on labels such as Moodymann’s KDJ imprint, and more recently, Rush Hour and Japan’s Freedom School. He is a masterful “DJ’s DJ” who moves his way between disco, techno, house, and other oddities with ease.

Local support for this one comes in the way of Kris Guilty and Francis Oak. Vaunted selectors of the Detroit flavour, this should be one for the books from A-Z.
