Word of the Pig is the audio-visual outcome of a playful and absurd interaction between an object, a subject and a trigger. This short film and installation are the traces of a series of street operas performed in public spaces around Montreal.

This piece speaks about how individuals negotiate space through notions of translation, limitation, equality, obedience and resistance. Using the body as the main medium for exploring spaces, Word of the Pig incorporates the language of textile craft, installation, entertainment, film, and performance art to either excuse or explain its actions.
